Some weeks ago I and the other girls from the GW-forum were joking around which song would fit Paul and Carson best. The feedback was stunning. So many songs from different artists were suggested – some of them I never heard before. The forum changed into a sharing network and I decided to put the songs on a CD to send it to Paul’s management – for he was the lovely bone of contention.

But this is not just a CD. This is a project of a group of people who would not know each other without the Paul-factor. I see this bunch of girls as a reflection of the Crew of Stargate Atlantis: we all come from different countries, have different cultural and social backgrounds and came together for one mission: to have a blast.

The lovely thing about building a website devoted to a character everyone loves is that many people are excited about working on it!  I’d like to thank and introduce some of the very talented people who will be turning carsonbeckett.com into something wonderful:

• Haliyah will be creating our overall site design
• Idlewild202 will be working with Haliyah on design and css coding
• Meezergater will be working on making us a video gallery for all those lovely Carson fanvids out there
• Someone whose name I have lost in the mist of past forum thread pages (I’ve very sorry!  Was it you, fainne?) is going to make us a gallery for Carson wallpaper, icons, and other pretties.

Welcome to the Carson Beckett/Paul McGillion community!  I created this place to act as a warm and friendly environment for Carson and Paul fans to interact.  We have all been drawn together by our love for a very special character who has become dear to our hearts….so enjoy!
